Uli met his wife Jean while in Taipei where she was teaching at the Taipei-American School. She convinced him to bring his sausage making skills to her home town of Seattle where he has now been in business for four years.
Uli is enthusiastic about the authenticity and quality of his sausages. In his own words:

No matter how far we reach out to customers, one thing remains the same: We want to hear from you if there is anything more we can do to enhance your satisfaction. We cater to you! We hope to bring you sausages so good that we will see you back again and again and again.”
